The Chet & Waveney Valley Vineyard was planted in 2011. We grow Regent (Red) Phoenix (Son of Bacchus) Seyval Blanc, Bacchus, Solaris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meurnier and Chardonnay. We specialise as a house that produces high quality sparkling wine. We also produce innovative still wines. Our 2014 Pink Bottle fermented Sparkling wine was awarded the Spear Trophy for the best Sparkling wine in East Anglia and our Blanc de Blancs 2015 won a Bronze from Decanter magazine this year.
We specialise in making sparkling wine that is typically English using varieties that impart fruit aromatics to the wine but use the traditional bottle fermentation to add complexity to our top range wines. We are experimenting using tank secondary fermentation for our mid-range wines and offer two fun still Rosé wines and a flavorsome still white Solaris. Come and visit us at the Norfolk Enterprise Festival and talk…and drink wine. Salut
Foraging as many of our ingredients as possible, while supporting the local economy by buying local, giving back to the surrounding area by planting hedgerows, working with local farmers, schools and groups. Supporting independent, local pubs in any way we can to ensure they thrive and are an important part of their community. And finally being as environmentally friendly as we can, with the smallest carbon footprint we can manage.

During the summer of 2017 we decided to diversify into catering with a brand new edition to the business by investing in our unit “The Mussel Pod”, a five star rated catering unit as Thomas’s business concentrates on supplying mussels to pubs, restaurants and wholesale customers along the coast during the winter months which leaves a chunk of the year with no income with this trade like a lot of businesses.

Years ago James played Benjamin Britten’s Nocturnal for the first time. The masterpiece shaped his career for it sparked an obsession with English modern and contemporary music that is the driving force of Jame’s musical life. The English landscape and the seas of our coast strongly influence his work, yielding a rich harvest of stories, poetry and inspiration. His playing style, described by the Independent as ‘intensely lyrical’, has been shaped by his vocal training at the Royal Academy and through many concerts as a guitarist with great singers including Michael Chance and Robin Tritschler.
