Westacre Theatre is delighted to welcome this first Norfolk Enterprise Festival to the lovely setting that we feel so lucky to be able to enjoy and share. As a small business in rural Norfolk we are very pleased to be part of an event designed to promote and develop other similar enterprises. We look forward to meeting all the local entrepreneurs and business leaders and to help create a stimulating and thought-provoking festival that will be the first of many.
As an entrepreneur and foodie regularly dealing with fantastic Norfolk producers both at the monthly Farmers’ Market at Creake Abbey and as owner of the Creake Abbey Food Café & Food Hall, I believe that any event worth its salt will offer fantastic food and drink, locally sourced. Creake Abbey are working to bring this to the Enterprise Festival. The festival will provide a fantastic platform for a few select Norfolk food and drink producers to share their stories and network.
Grant Thornton’s Norwich office provides innovative, trusted support to dynamic companies. And running throughout this is a wider purpose to create a more progressive and productive economy across Norfolk. As such, we’re delighted to sponsor the inaugural Norfolk Enterprise Festival to unlock the potential for growth among ambitious entrepreneurs and businesses in our community.
Entrepreneurs and the small businesses they own and run are the backbone of much of our region’s economy, and we all share the responsibility to make this a region in which they can thrive and prosper. That includes ensuring they don’t need to think twice about the infrastructure that is essential for success – and that includes everything from mobile and broadband connectivity, right through to water and energy.
Partnering with the Norfolk Enterprise Festival is a great opportunity for us to hear the challenges entrepreneurs face, first hand. At the same time, we can share with them our long-term vision for a region that is fit for the growth we expect, that is respectful of the high quality environment we live in, and which is already planning for the challenges of tomorrow. It is only by working collaboratively that we can expect to address these challenges in full.
It’s great to be part of the inaugural Norfolk Enterprise Festival, and we look forward to many more

The Children’s Garden is a Montessori day nursery and Forest School on the western edge of Norwich. We specialise in providing a natural environment for young children to be able to explore through their own eyes. We are delighted to be part of the Norfolk Enterprise Festival.
We will be offering woodland walks with Forest School activities for children who are attending the festival. Depending on numbers, we would like to do one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Activities will be dependent on ages of the children but are likely to include bug hunt, den-building, tent-peg making, natural paints etc.
Children need to be 4 years or over and numbers will be limited to 8 per session.
Please come and sign up on the day.
