A one-day festival celebrating, promoting and supporting economic activity in Norfolk, by creating a network for Norfolk’s growing entrepreneurial community.
It’s not another boring business conference. It’s a fun, family-friendly day showcasing the extensive creative activity and entrepreneurial energy this county has to offer.
The festival will be hosting Norfolk-based entrepreneurs, startups, micro businesses and SMEs from around the whole county.
All attendees are welcome to bring along their families. There will be plenty of inspiring activities to keep them busy within the stunning setting of the Westacre Estate. Expect creative arts workshops, forest schools, nature trails and delicious local food and drink stands, business workshops, as well as inspirational speakers from the top of Norfolk’s business community.

There will be a live Angel’s Den, with a prize of £10,000 in business support! 3 budding entrepreneurs will pitch to our Angels. The audience will also be able to vote on their favourite entrepreneur.

David Milner has had a stellar career building brands in the food and drink sector. Jayne And Jamie Everett founded Norfolk Oak and Naked Kitchen in 2007 after varied careers in banking, bond trading, flying and other start up businesses. Naked now employs over 50 staff making around 400 bespoke kitchens a year in a highly mechanised environment. Their focus is to use this technology to disrupt the bespoke kitchen market.

Saffron is Innovation Funding Manager at UEA and has worked on the Low Carbon Innovation Fund since 2012. During this time she developed the LCIF Smaller Investments Scheme which invests amounts of £25k – £75k in East of England businesses. Prior to LCIF, Saffron has founded and managed SME businesses, particularly in the carbon reduction, manufacturing, installation and energy service sectors.
You will be able to learn from some top-class speakers and innovators who will be sharing their tips on how to develop a business idea all the way to taking your existing enterprise to the next level.
There will be opportunities to find out about what support is available to small businesses and how to access it. We’ll also be welcoming investors who are interested in becoming a part of exciting projects. Some of which investors will be taking part in our Angel’s Den session, where three Norfolk businesses enter to win the top prize.
Throughout the day there will be a variety of workshops and sessions to attend, for visitors to celebrate and showcase some of the best enterprises in Norfolk as well as the chance to find out exactly what this county is good at.
